Liz has been working in the music industry for over 30 years. In that time she has managed artists including Eliza Carthy (MBE), Shane MacGowan, Brian Nash (FGTH) and Galia Arad and continues to work as an artist in her own right touring, writing, recording and performing all over the world. Liz also teaches vocals, music theory and guitar, is a commissioned composer for choirs, large community events, BBC outreach, has conducted the London Mozart Players and Hull City of Culture 2017 New Music Biennial opening concert, and since re-starting her band Auburn in 2012 has recorded 4 albums in Nashville with Grammy-Nominated producer Thomm Jutz, to critical acclaim.

Her company, Scarlet Music, provides artist administration and consultancy services for several artists including Strada Music Agency, Moneypenny Music, Martin & Eliza Carthy, HemHem Records, and many others.  She is also lead facilitator for Scarlet Community Music Club, who have delivered 18 years of funded educational community music projects for CYPS in challenging circumstances and vulnerable adults, including a research project for music with SEN children, in association with Nottingham University.

Liz mentored for DTi New Deal for Musicians and lectures in music industry at UEL, Bishops Grosseteste University, Stamford College and Leeds School of Music and was national practitioner trainer for the governments Sing Up project. She has delivered 100’s of educational and community workshops, projects and events for many organisations including BBC Outreach, soundLINCS, Creative Communities, Youth Music, Arts Council England, Lincs Music Hub/Lincs Music Service, NK Arts and many, many more. Liz also delivers prescriptive music sessions for the NHS, for patients with mental health issues and in 2022 Liz was awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) on HM The Queens New Years Day Honours list, for Services to Music.

Liz came on board as a Patron of Toga Creative in 2022, passionate about spreading the word and working with us on a wealth of future projects. Liz is also Toga Creative's funding manager.
